decent stay, some issues

clean roomtasty breakfastcomprehensive selectionmisleading photosunavailable coffeelimited facilities
i found the room quite clean. it was well cooked (especially the sausages!). the bed was comfortable. i appreciated the comprehensive selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits.
i found that the photos online were a bit misleading. decaf coffee was unavailable at breakfast, though there were some sachets in the room. the staff told me they couldn't do poached eggs on toast, as they lacked the facilities (odd, i thought).

Excellent Stay and Friendly Staff

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived as food service was concluding, yet they quickly accommodated us. The room had nice toiletries in the bathroom. Locals clearly frequent the pub, great.
There was road noise, which could not be helped. A bottom window should open to allow more air in. The room was hot.
